How to Add an Incident Type?

Follow the steps below to create and add a new Incidents Type.

Step 1:
Login into Mobiconnect with Valid credentials and select your project.

Step 2:
Navigate to the ‘Incident Type’ page by clicking on Incidents from the menu.

Step 3:
Click on ‘New’ on the top right corner

Step 4:

In the ‘Add  Incident Type ’ form: enter all Details

Info: Incident Type details

  • Provide the name for the incident type.
  • Offer a brief description of the incident type.
  • Upload any relevant files.

Step 5: 
Configure the sections and elements that should appear on the Incident Creation Form based on the selected incident type.

  • Copy or delete elements as needed.
  • Click ‘Show in Filter’ to display the added elements in the filters.

Click ‘Save’ to create the incident type
Click ‘ ‘Cancel’ to discard changes.

Info :

  • Define titles for different sections within the form.
    Use the plus button to add new sections.
    Choose the type of input elements required (Text, Toggle, Select).
  • Adjust ‘Element Settings’ for each element added:
  • Text: Set default values, placeholders, and specify if it is required.
    Toggle: Determine the default state and whether it is a required field.
    Select: Configure default selections, add values, and mark as mandatory if necessary.
